## What it is

Social Phix is a single-serve 100ml shot containing five compounds:

- **L-Theanine** — amino acid found in tea; studied for supporting alpha-wave brain activity, the relaxed-but-alert state
- **Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca)** — botanical shown in a 2015 binding study to bind the GABA-A receptor at the GABA site rather than the benzodiazepine site
- **Acetyl L-Tyrosine** — bioavailable precursor to catecholamines (dopamine, norepinephrine); studied specifically under acute stress and cognitive load
- **Uridine Monophosphate** — nucleotide feeding the CDP-choline pathway used in neuronal membrane synthesis
- **Micro-dosed caffeine** — small controlled dose, paired with L-theanine to blunt the jittery edge caffeine produces alone

**How is it different from an energy drink?** Energy drinks add stimulation. Social Phix is formulated around the opposite problem — the physical arousal that's already present before something stressful.

**How is it different from alcohol?** Alcohol reduces inhibition at the cost of sharpness, recall and judgement. Social Phix is formulated to avoid that trade.
